• Complete assigned building daily expectations, including vacuuming, trash collection and removal, stocking supplies, sweeping, mopping, floor cleaning, restrooms, lunch room clean up, and in some buildings laundry.
• Clean up spills (including bodily fluids) throughout the building promptly as needed.
• Verify evening schedule and print for night staff.
• Maintain safe walkways using snow shovel, snow blower, and ice melt during winter months.
• Assist with electronic work orders: unlocking doors, minor equipment repair, moving materials, and entering tickets to maintenance department for in‑depth repair.
• Assist with inventory of custodial supplies: retrieve supply delivery, check supplies in, and organize into custodial workspace.
• Assist in training new custodial employees.
• Complete assigned building monthly task list, including preventative maintenance such as fire extinguisher checks and floor scrubbing machine use.

  Experience:
  
  0‑2 years required, 3‑5 years preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, building administrators, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

The custodian physical job demands include:
Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from waist to above shoulder;
