Who We AreWaukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly 13,000 students in preschool through grade 12 and is located halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our District has one early learning center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools, and a high school program divided between two 9-12 grade campuses. The District encompasses portions of Waukegan, Beach Park and Park City.

- Office:
- Empty trash

- Vacuum carpet/runners
- Vacuum runners
- Clean glasses

- Empty trash & sharpener

- Dust mop and sweep
- Vacuum carpet/rugs
- Spot wet mop
Time Room or Area Duties:
- 6:00 – Custodial Area Punch in, prepare equipment.
- Bookstore Office steps 1-5 daily, 6-7 weekly.
- Kitchen area, staff lounge and cafeteria: pick up litter, spot mop spills, empty trash; dispose of cardboard boxes from kitchen; dust mop, spot mop daily, full mop weekly.
- 1st floor east corridor from maintenance office to corridor: steps 1-5 daily, 6 weekly; bookstore, south exit door to east‑west corridors: pick up litter, spot mop all spills.
- Corridors – check corridors between periods; run the floor scrubber as needed.
- Washrooms – check every washroom every period; dump trash cans, clean toilets, sink and urinals.
- Maintain custodial supplies and order as needed.
- Preventative maintenance and projects assigned.
- Custodial closet – sweep as needed.

- 8:15 – Continue schedule
- 10:00 – Lunch
- 10:30 – Continue schedule
- 12:00 – Break
- 12:15 – Continue schedule
- 2:15 – Custodial Closet Clean and store equipment
- 2:30 – Custodial Area Punch out
Per Contract Salary Structure
