Senior Maintenance Technician

Aspire Chicago is seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all aspects of our facilities are operational and safe to foster community participation and personal growth for individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will oversee the maintenance operations within our facilities, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and meet safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other essential facility components.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance staff, providing on-the-job training and development.
• Manage maintenance inventories and procure tools and parts as needed.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and routine checks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Document and maintain records of all maintenance work.
