Facilities Manager

Uline Inc., a leading distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, is seeking a Facilities Manager to support our Warehouse & Manufacturing operations within the Facilities & Maintenance department. In this role, you will oversee building maintenance, equipment reliability, vendor management and safety compliance to ensure a clean, efficient and secure work environment. You will lead a maintenance team, coordinate preventive maintenance programs and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and upkeep of Uline's distribution and logistics facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable environments that support high volume warehouse activities.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for building, material handling equipment, HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Lead and mentor a facilities and maintenance team, setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Manage facilities budgets, track expenses, and identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining operational reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors for repairs, capital projects, inspections, and specialized services, ensuring on time and on budget completion.
• Maintain and optimize use of a CMMS to schedule work orders, track assets, monitor downtime, and report on key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, driving a strong safety culture and conducting regular inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Plan and execute facility improvement initiatives, including layout changes, racking and material handling upgrades, and building infrastructure projects to support operational growth.
• Monitor facility performance, energy usage, and equipment reliability, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, safety, and leadership teams to align facility capabilities with business needs and support Uline's results driven culture.
