Maintenance Planner -- Food Production (36435

An international producer of commercial food products is looking for a Maintenance Planner near Walworth, WI
. The ideal candidate will have prior experience scheduling maintenance activities in a high demand industrial production environment and will be able to ensure that maintenance teams are adequately staffed to keep up with customer production, quality, and safety requirements.
This is a direct-hire position and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

• Plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including both preventive and reactive procedures
• Utilize available information to assess and appropriately schedule and assign maintenance work
• Purchase maintenance materials (MRO) as needed, adhering to company policies and requirements
• Evaluate current and planned work orders to prioritize and forecast labor demands and schedule accordingly
• Assess customer feedback to evaluate and make recommendations for improving future work
• Prepare, review, and coordinate reports and other documentation of maintenance activities
• Review work orders, prioritizing as necessary
• Develop and maintain maintenance management systems (CMMS, ULTIMO, etc.), monitoring to ensure effective operation
• Other duties, as assigned by Management

• Minimum 5 years of prior Maintenance coordination activities, including maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other design documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in a high-intensity environment with shifting priorities
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Applications-Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
• Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanics
• Detail oriented
• This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
