Maintenance Tech 1

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech 1 to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our facilities are in optimal condition to support our mission of impacting children's lives and supporting families. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare facility regulations and a keen eye for detail, making certain that our environment is safe, functional, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties, including mechanical systems and building infrastructure.
• Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
• Conduct inspections of premises and equipment to determine the need for repair or replacement.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to secure necessary services and materials.
• Support facilities' cleanliness and efficiency by performing custodial and maintenance tasks as needed.

Required Skills
