Maintenance Technician
Full Time First Shift. Every Other Weekend On Call

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents by performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and grounds upkeep.
Responsibilities- Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
- Repair walls, doors, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and other building components
- Replace light bulbs and maintain lighting fixtures
- Assist with plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance duties
- Maintain outdoor areas including grounds, parking lots, and walkways
- Move furniture and equipment as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs
- Follow all safety, infection control, and facility procedures
- Coordinate work in resident areas with nursing staff when necessary
- Participate in emergency drills and on-call rotations as scheduled
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous maintenance or long-term care experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform overhead lifting
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
