Maintenance Technician

Full Time First Shift. Every Other Weekend On Call

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents by performing routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and grounds upkeep.

• Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Repair walls, doors, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and other building components
• Replace light bulbs and maintain lighting fixtures
• Assist with plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance duties
• Maintain outdoor areas including grounds, parking lots, and walkways
• Move furniture and equipment as needed
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs
• Follow all safety, infection control, and facility procedures
• Coordinate work in resident areas with nursing staff when necessary
• Participate in emergency drills and on-call rotations as scheduled

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous maintenance or long-term care experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills required

• Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and perform overhead lifting
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
