Part Time. Salary Range: $12.00 - $12.00 hourly.

This position supports the work of the YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Cleans and improves YMCA facilities and equipment, including preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment.

• Provide overall facility cleaning and keep supervisor aware of product inventory.
• Check the proper operation of all cleaning equipment.
• Complete cleaning work and projects in a timely manner.
• Help in the process of picking up, laundering and disbursing towels.
• Work in an efficient manner and as a team member with other custodial staff.
• Make supervisor aware of cleaning issues and anything in need of repair or replacement.
• Ensure that assigned equipment is maintained and operated in accordance with the policies and procedures of the YMCA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in a custodian position desired but not required.
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment and other maintenance-related tools/equipment.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
• Have reliable transportation.

Hours will be evening shift of approximately 6 hours Sunday
- Saturday, 3-5 days a week. Flexibility on days and hours.
