Job Description
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. Reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned using a combination of methods. Working regular day shifts, the Dishwasher supports kitchen staff by adhering to strict sanitation and hygiene standards to uphold food safety.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using manual and machine methods
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area including floors and surfaces
- Support kitchen staff by promptly responding to their dish and utensil needs
- Follow sanitation and hygiene standards to ensure a safe kitchen environment
- Adhere to basic kitchen safety protocols at all times
