POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll help keep our high-speed facility running safely and accurately – helping bring beloved Nestlé brands to millions of households across America. You'll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and partner with operators to drive continuous improvement. This is a hands-on-role where your skills directly impact product quality, plant safety, and team success.

Pay: $33.47/hour Nestlé Quarterly Bonus Structure 401k with company match Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) 11 paid holidays
Shift: 2nd and 3rd available
RESPONSIBILITIESOperate and control packaging line equipment, including pouch, can, and bag lines and associated casers, depalletizers, and palletizers Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment to minimize downtime Create, complete, and document work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high‑speed packaging equipment Support equipment changeovers, line relief, and quality checks throughout the shift Supply machine centers with packaging and raw materials, inspecting and verifying for accuracy and food safety compliance Reject damaged or non‑conforming materials and escalate concerns appropriately Maintain accurate production, quality, and inventory documentation Participate in continuous improvement, TPM, and Lean activities to improve reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Perform general housekeeping and sanitation consistent with food manufacturing standards (GMPs) Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements at all times
REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED preferred Ability to complete 4 - 6 weeks of on-the-job training by qualified peers, standard in-plant courses, and occasional off-site training Ability to complete annual training from QA, Environmental, and HR departments
SKILLSMechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Multi craft mindset across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to changing needs Effective communication and teamwork skills
