Maintenance Manager
A growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead second-shift maintenance. This hands-on role requires strong knowledge of production equipment, industrial automation, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance technicians and daily shift activities.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, installations, and startups.
- Partner with Production and Engineering to improve reliability and throughput.
- Manage preventive maintenance and improve MTBF, MTTR, and equipment reliability.
- Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and automated systems.
- Manage contractors, OEM relationships, and critical spare parts.
- Ensure effective CMMS use and work-order documentation.
- Hire, train, and develop maintenance technicians.
- Enforce LOTO, OSHA, GMP, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Maintenance leadership experience in food, beverage, or complex manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automated production and packaging equipment.
- Industrial electrical/electronic and automation experience.
- Strong preventive and corrective maintenance background.
- Experience leading maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of CMMS, KPIs, RCA, and spare-parts management.
- Experience with robotics, freezers, fillers, mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment, or similar automated machinery is highly valuable.
