Utility

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Utility associate to keep our senior living community clean, safe, and welcoming. In this hands-on role, you'll support housekeeping and light maintenance by cleaning resident apartments and common areas, assisting with room turns, and responding to work requests. You'll help maintain equipment and report safety concerns while following infection-control and OSHA guidelines. Working on a resident-first, team-oriented staff, you'll build relationships with seniors, support special events, and contribute daily to a warm, vibrant environment where residents feel at home.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident apartments and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Support light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, bulb replacement, and simple work orders
• Assist with room turns and community set-up for events and activities
• Monitor and promptly report safety, maintenance, or housekeeping issues to supervisors
• Follow infection-control, safety, and OSHA guidelines to protect residents and associates
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and visitors
• Safely operate housekeeping and maintenance equipment and use cleaning chemicals per instructions
• Collaborate with nursing, dining, and activities teams to support special requests
• Maintain storage areas, supplies, and equipment in an organized, safe manner
• Follow community policies, schedules, and documentation procedures accurately
