Position: HOUSEKEEPER AMBULATORY SERVICES (PART TIME)

Job Summary

Position:
Part‑time Housekeeper – Ambulatory Services at Texas Children’s Hospital, 940 Clear Lake City Boulevard, Webster, TX 77598.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

Pay Range: $13.00 – $13.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Disinfect surfaces with the supplied chemicals.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings, vents, window sills, and ledges.
  • Clean reception glass, entrance windows, and all patient area surfaces.
  • Move chairs, stools, waste/linen/biohazardous bins, equipment, and other items for proper cleaning and re‑arrange them according to recommended layout.
  • Clean floors—sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and performing carpet and upholstery spot cleaning.
  • Collect and dispose of general trash and biohazardous waste; maintain waste containers.
  • Replenish soap, sanitizer, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, and other consumables.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and storage areas in a clean, orderly condition.
  • Operate alarm systems to arm and disarm.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior housekeeping experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
