A leading Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join its manufacturing operation in Culloden, West Virginia
. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving equipment reliability, maintenance excellence, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility.
The Maintenance Manager provides strategic and hands‑on leadership for the Maintenance Department, ensuring high equipment uptime, safe operations, and cost‑effective execution. This role partners closely with plant leadership, production, engineering, and external vendors to align maintenance strategy with business objectives while building a high‑performing, engaged maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities Leadership, Safety & Culture- Lead and develop the Maintenance team, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff
- Champion a proactive safety culture
, including training, observations, and incident investigations - Reinforce 5S and housekeeping standards across all maintenance areas
- Foster a positive, accountable, and inclusive work environment through coaching, onboarding, and employee engagement
- Translate plant and company strategy into clear maintenance goals and priorities
- Act as a change leader, driving adoption of new processes, systems, and initiatives
- Align maintenance objectives with customer, production, and business needs
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve maintenance programs including PM, PdM, TPM, and reliability practices
- Ensure disciplined planning, scheduling, and high‑quality execution of maintenance work
- Maintain accurate CMMS data (work orders, asset history, parts usage, labor, and costs)
- Manage spare parts strategy, inventory accuracy, and vendor/contractor performance
- Establish and track maintenance KPIs such as uptime, OEE, PM compliance, MTTR/MTBF, and budget performance
- Lead structured problem solving, including root‑cause analysis and 5‑Why
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget
- Identify and justify reliability‑driven capital projects
- Lead capital projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and hand‑off
- Provide regular updates to plant leadership on asset performance, risks, budgets, and project milestones
- Represent Maintenance during audits, customer visits, and cross‑functional reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of industrial maintenance or engineering experience with progressive responsibility
- 3+ years of supervisory leadership experience with a focus on team development
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation background (PLCs, drives, instrumentation)
- Deep understanding of maintenance and reliability strategies (
PM, PdM, TPM, CMMS
) - Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage budgets, and communicate effectively across the organization
