Facilities Management Dept - Custodian

The Town of Wellesley’s Facilities Management Department (FMD) is seeking full-time custodians. This is an opportunity to join one of the top municipal facilities organizations in the area.

Previous custodial experience is not required, but is preferred. New hires will receive comprehensive training and will be supervised by an experienced Facility Supervisor.

Custodians perform all aspects of custodial services and operations for the department. The work includes cleaning of buildings, minor maintenance work, landscaping and grounds work, event setup, building security, and emergency snow and ice response. Candidates must be available for weekend, emergency and stand‑by duties as required.

Requirements: a valid MA Driver’s license and a High School diploma or GED.

Work schedule:

Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, or Tuesday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. School vacation and summer hours are generally all first shift.
