Custodian (Middle School, Monday - Friday 2nd Shift)

Previous custodial experience is not required, but preferred.
New hires will receive comprehensive training and will be supervised by an experienced Facility Supervisor. Our custodians perform all aspects of custodial services and operations for the department. The work includes cleaning of buildings, minor maintenance work, landscaping/grounds work, event setup, building security, and emergency snow/ice response.
Candidates must be available for weekend, emergency, and stand‑by duties as required, and must have a valid MA driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED.
The current opening is in our Middle School building. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. School vacation and summer hours are generally all first shift. The hourly rate of pay is $22.75 to $28.36, depending upon qualifications and experience.
