About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team at a skilled nursing facility in St. Louis. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that supports resident care and staff operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and deep cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet care
Maintain cleanliness in all facility areas such as hallways, restrooms, resident rooms, and common spaces
Follow safety and infection control procedures, including proper signage and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Support basic maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, cleaning vents, and washing windows
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed
Assist with outdoor upkeep including sweeping entrances and cleaning patio furniture
Collaborate with staff to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors
High school diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping, floor care, or maintenance in a healthcare or commercial setting preferred
Knowledge of floor care equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety procedures
Ability to follow schedules and work independently
Strong attention to detail and a team player mindset
