Responsibilities:

• Deliveries:
  Transportation of Linens and Supplies between facilities.
• Cleaning:
  Keeping Vehicle, Equipment and Workspace Clean. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Reporting:
  Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Resident/Client Interaction:
  Be polite and helpful to residents and clients, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Comply with the Residents' Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.
• Repair housekeeping, laundry and other equipment/machines/vehicles, as directed.
• Perform periodic maintenance on laundry and housekeeping equipment. Order parts as necessary.
• Maintain regular maintenance on company vehicles/trucks kept at the corporate office, and as directed.
• Maintain regular facility maintenance and warehouse cleaning at the BSG Corporate Office.
• Mowing lawn at various locations.
• Keeping landscape beds, sidewalks, and parking lot free of weeds – mulch in Spring at various locations.
• Snow removal for parking lot and sidewalks. Salt sidewalks.
• Replace furnace filters quarterly.
• Maintain building security system.
• Report roof and/or building water leaks to CEO.
• Replenish salt in water softener, as necessary.
• Replace burnt interior and exterior lights, as necessary.
• Schedule annual septic tank pumping.
• Make minor plumbing repairs.
• Maintain OSHA logs in trucks and schedule annual vehicle inspections.
• Report any other building deficiencies to CEO.
• Perform supply deliveries as directed by CEO or Operations Manager.
• Perform linen deliveries as directed by CEO or Operations Manager.
• Perform any other additional requests as directed by CEO or Operations Manager.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift 80lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
• Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
• Able to pass a caregiver background check and 10 panel Drug Screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a custodian role or a similar role is preferred.
• Valid Drivers License, and good driving record. No CLD required.
