Service Manager

We are seeking a hands‑on, experienced Service Manager with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to lead maintenance operations at our Preserve at Beckett Ridge 216‑unit community. In this full‑time role you will ensure the physical integrity of the property meets company standards and all applicable laws while driving team performance and resident satisfaction.

• Lead daily maintenance operations including work orders, unit turns, make‑ready schedules, and grounds upkeep.
• Develop and execute an organized production schedule and preventive maintenance plan.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, and electrical systems.
• Partner with office staff to ensure timely follow‑up and excellent resident service.
• Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance materials, tools, and supplies.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and vacant units.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and personally respond to urgent site needs when required.
• Plan, assign, and direct maintenance activities while maintaining hands‑on involvement in daily tasks.

• Pay Range: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour.

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Paid rotating on‑call participation required.
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events.
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs.

• Strong, well‑rounded maintenance experience with leadership capability.
• Proven ability to manage work orders, scheduling, inventory, and daily property operations.
• Hands‑on experience with HVAC systems (required).
• Strong skills in plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps, tablets, and basic computer systems.
• Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
• One‑year certificate, 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
