Property Maintenance Technician

A local company in Des Moines is seeking two Property Maintenance Technicians to assist with maintenance operations across their multi-family housing properties in the Des Moines area.

Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance work orders in occupied apartment units.
• Assist with apartment turns, including repairs and basic upkeep between tenants.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, minor plumbing, carpentry, and repairs.
• Travel between multiple properties as needed throughout the workday.
• Use personal tools to complete maintenance projects.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Communicate effectively with property management and residents.

Qualifications:

• Previous property maintenance, apartment maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks independently.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable.
• High School Diploma required.
