Job Description
As a Custodian at Saint Mary Home, you will maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff by performing a variety of housekeeping and maintenance duties. Your responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds while adhering to all safety, infection control, and operational guidelines.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate and maintain housekeeping equipment safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift (up to 60 lbs) frequently.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact courteously with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Flexibility to handle multiple responsibilities and respond to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, infection control practices, and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
