Maintenance Utility Worker

Uni First Corporation is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Utility Worker to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness of our facilities. You will be instrumental in performing routine maintenance tasks and supporting our facilities management to enhance the workplace for both our team and the clients relying on our uniform and protective work wear offerings.

This position requires a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic, contributing directly to the standards Uni First is known for across the United States, Europe, and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on facility machinery and equipment.
• Support the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of equipment and fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment runs smoothly.
• Assist in maintaining the physical condition of the facility consistent with safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with facilities managers to implement facility plans.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring that critical parts are stocked.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
