Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Responsible for routine maintenance on machines and also conducts preventative maintenance on machines, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment as necessary.

• Perform routine equipment & facility maintenance.
• Perform routine equipment & facility repairs.
• Assist with and perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic/air systems trouble shooting and repair
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and air systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and develop sustainable solutions for issues with equipment to include; PLC controlled equipment, plant electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and mechanical systems including motors, instrumentation, distribution, and feed control system
• Knowledge of PLC’s
• Knowledge of 480V Three Phase Electric
• Initiate continuous personal and professional development and improvement.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance and/or production experience.
• Have an advanced understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with production staff and management.
• Have a basic understanding of OSHA safety requirements.
• Understand and interpret blueprints.
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while completing them in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
