About the Role
Park Housekeeping Team Member performs cleaning and maintenance of park restrooms, office spaces and other indoor and outdoor areas while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain park restrooms, office spaces and assigned indoor/outdoor areas.
- Provide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with questions or issues.
- Clean and disinfect public and office areas on a scheduled rotating basis.
- Respond to emergency clean‑up situations as needed.
- Perform maintenance and upkeep for all restroom facilities: sanitize toilets, sinks, counters; remove trash; polish surfaces, windows and furniture; vacuum, mop and sweep floors.
- Monitor and immediately report any damages or safety hazards to maintenance or leadership.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
- Maintain records of all work completed and safety inspections.
- Inspect equipment to ensure conformance with operational standards.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, tools and chemicals.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- No educational requirements; previous experience not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual skills are a plus. - Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and non‑operating hours.
- Reliable transportation to and from work for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to notice areas that require attention.
- Safety priority and proper PPE use when required.
- Proficient in operating cleaning tools and ladders.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and professional image in compliance with park guidelines.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to resolve questions, problems and concerns in a professional manner.
- Ability to follow direction, multi‑task and work independently or as part of a team.
- Stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend or squat for long periods.
- Remain on feet for majority of the workday.
- Work in non‑conventional areas, including outside, on scaffolds or ladders.
- Carry, push, pull, lift or hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more.
- Use hands to grasp, control and move objects or tools.
- See details of objects more than a few feet away.
- Frequent exposure to all outdoor and indoor areas, variable temperatures, and weather conditions.
- Subject to constant repetitive motion and frequent use of ladders, step ladders or scaffolds.
- Frequent exposure to dust, dirt and chemical cleaning agents.
- Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens; proper PPE required.
- Frequent interruptions and requests requiring reprioritization of activities.
- Flexible schedule.
