About the Role
As a J&J Cleaning Coordinator, you will be responsible for basic cleaning duties, including mopping, sweeping, and trash disposal. This job is part of the Cleaning Services function, ensuring the cleanliness of client and company buildings.
Job DetailsPart‑time shift: 4:00 PM (covers the Manatee Lagoon site on Sundays; may also support other facilities as needed).
What You’ll Do- Provide daily cleaning support to high‑traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
- Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
- Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
- Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving and rearranging furniture.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies are kept in a safe, secure area at all times.
- Complete a detailed cleaning checklist for each designated area.
- Complete standardized cleaning processes as per company standards.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
- Attend all regular staff meetings and required in‑service training sessions.
- Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
The minimum pay rate is $15.00 per hour. This position may also be eligible for a range of competitive benefits, including medical, well‑being, financial planning, and short‑term incentive benefits.
