. is hiring a Full-Time Operating Room Surgical Aides for Mid Shift at Tenet Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL.

• Shift Time: 11:00am - 7:30pm
• Rotational weekends and holidays
• Hourly Rate: $17.70

Job Overview:

The Surgical Aide (Surgical suite terminal cleaning) may work in any location on client's premises. This individual cleans the surgical suite at the end of the day. Surgical suites include operating rooms, C-section rooms, and other rooms where invasive procedures are involved. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position.

These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Handling of Biohazard containers
• Remove all debris from the floor and place it in an appropriate container.
• Empty trash cans
• Wipe counters
• Use a designated vacuum to dust surfaces above shoulder level ( vents, light fixtures, etc.)
• Spot clean walls
• Perform other tasks as directed.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus
• Medical cleaning is a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Tests required
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds with assistance of staff members and/or approved lifting devices.

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
