Accounts Payable Specialist

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full cycle of AP functions with accuracy and compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to financial integrity.

• Full-Time:
  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• On-site at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA

• Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and handle payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transactions.
• Maintain accurate and organized vendor records and files.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliation of accounts payable and vendor statements.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of invoices and provide support on related inquiries.
• Continuously improve accounts payable processes and recommend changes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• 2+ years full-cycle accounts payable experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and ethical standard in handling financial information and confidential data
• Prior dental industry experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality
