Bill Rate: 42/hr shift: 8am - 4:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri Onsite
The Development Scientist assists in antimicrobial susceptibility testing for a new project within the Development Science organization. The incumbent performs experiments as defined and planned by the supervisor; reviews test results for experimental error and determines if repeats are required, and provides project support to the team as needed.
Duties will include subculturing isolates for testing, performing laboratory experiments, documenting results, and maintaining a safe environment within the laboratory. Requirements: aseptic technique, GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), some knowledge of microbiology, ability to multi-task, and good organizational skills. Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
