PM Order Selector – Tony's job at UNFI Canada (West Sacramento, CA). Start time 6:00 PM, 4 overnight shifts with mandatory overtime. Saturdays are closed. Rotating schedule: 4 days on plus mandatory overtime, Sundays mandatory, Saturdays off.

• At least 1 year warehouse experience with electric pallet jack and order selecting (or material handler). Will train if not, but if you have experience, we want to meet.
• Physical ability to lift and continuously handle weights of 90 lbs or more.
• Willingness to work in refrigeration environments ranging from 32 °F to ‑10 °F.
• Good judgment and ability to work independently when direct supervision is not immediately available.

• Operate a double pallet jack throughout the warehouse.
• Select cases and apply pick labels.
• Obtain work assignments.
• Work in a fast distribution center environment.
• Stack cases onto pallets.
• Inspect equipment and complete inspection checklist.
• Maintain a clean work area.

• During the ramp-up period (next 30 days after orientation), work may be less than 40 hrs per week; performance standards are measured to adjust hours post-training.
• Complete selector functions in accordance with company standards, procedures, quality, and safety regulations.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with company personnel and management; assistance is provided as needed.
• Meet deadlines.

• Understanding of safety guidelines and basic RF system functions.
• Ability to meet established minimum rate for department.
• Close attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 90 lbs continuously.
• Follow selecting procedures and verbal instructions in grocery, repack, cooler/freezer areas.
• Apply common sense for written or oral instructions.
• Deduce problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.

• Pay rate: $22.25 per hour.
• Full-time benefits and incentive pay noted.
• Night premium only for PM starts.
• Weekly pay every Friday.
