Janitor II Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Check off daily cleaning logs to ensure the area was cleaned and the building was completed.
• Mix water and detergents in containers according to product specifications to prevent damage to floors, fixtures, or furniture, and dispense chemicals in bottles with correct labels.
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash, including trash cans near the exterior main entrances.
• Services, supplies, and clean restrooms.
• Cleans and polishes furniture, drinking fountains, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning products and sponges.
• Dust office furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Spot clean or shampoo carpets; strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive vehicles (vans) to travel to various work sites.
• Move equipment and supplies manually or using a hand truck.
• Notify the lead or manager of any major equipment repairs or additions needed in custodial services.
• Inform lead or manager of supplies and equipment required for cleaning or maintenance duties.
• Wash, dry, and fold rags and towels – all team members are responsible.
• Represent the Company at all times with professionalism and a commitment to quality.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related janitorial experience preferred.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence; must have a valid social security card.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and reach repeatedly.
• Physical endurance to perform tasks over long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Hourly Rate: $18.47.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–1:00 AM.
