Maintenance Custodian

Sligan Plastics -  - Responsibilities:
General Cleaning Duties:
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, carpets, and surfaces;
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors;
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners;
Wash windows, walls, and glass surfaces as needed;
Disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches, handrails);
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums;
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when needed;
Ensure proper storage and labeling of chemicals and supplies;
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE;
Comply with company policies, OSHA standards, and sanitation regulations;
Report maintenance issues, hazards, or repairs to supervisors;
Perform scheduled deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet shampooing, pressure washing);
Assist with setup and cleanup for events or facility changes;
Respond to emergency cleanups (e.g., spills, biohazards) promptly and safely;
Assist with special projects as needed (painting, minor repairs)
