Maintenance Technician

At our Eleanor, WV facility, you will be responsible for maintaining, fixing, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment. You will also support safe, efficient, and reliable operations by maintaining facility systems.

This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring production equipment performs at optimal levels.

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Solve and repair machinery, electrical apparatus, hydraulic units, and compressed air equipment.
• Maintain machinery, production equipment Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance emergencies to minimize production interruptions.
• Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review and analyze engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and related user documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including repairs to HVAC systems, air compressors, lighting, fans, and building infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Safety, and other multi-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Move, position, and install manufacturing equipment as needed.
• Follow established maintenance procedures and safety practices while identifying root causes and corrective actions.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience or GED required; technical training, trade school certification, or related education preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment in a production environment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
