Plant Maintenance Laborer

We are looking for dedicated Plant Maintenance Laborers to join an established energy and utility provider located in Winfield, WV.

Your primary objective is to support the upkeep of our power plant by executing manual labor and custodial tasks. You will contribute to a secure and organized workspace through general facility maintenance, sanitation efforts, snow clearing, and managing kerosene heater supplies.

• Maintain facility aesthetics and equipment integrity by sweeping, scrubbing, and painting.
• Help ensure a cleaner environment by washing down roadways and plant zones to eliminate coal, ash, and sludge buildup.
• Clear coal debris from walkways and return it to the conveyor systems.
• Promote a tidy workplace by managing waste removal and addressing spills across the facility.
• Support site accessibility and comfort by clearing snow and replenishing kerosene heaters.
• Utilize tools and machinery in accordance with established safety protocols.

• Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to accommodate rotating schedules, covering nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to handle emergency callouts during both standard and outage periods.
• Help maintain a safe working environment by strictly adhering to all environmental and safety guidelines.
• Capacity to interpret and execute written directives accurately.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and effective communication abilities.
• Reliability and the physical stamina required to operate within a demanding industrial setting.
