Maintenance and Grounds Assistant – Position Summary

Full‑time maintenance and grounds assistant needed to support the upkeep of buildings and grounds at our West Warwick, RI corporate headquarters.

• Assist with building and equipment repairs such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic mechanical work
• Perform grounds maintenance, including seasonal and snow removal
• Support daily cleaning and facility upkeep
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests, including occasional last‑minute overtime as needed
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Director of Facilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Maintenance and facility experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical principles is a plus
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights when required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English required
• Basic math and computer skills required
• A valid driver’s license in good standing is preferred
• Willingness to successfully complete a background check, employment verification, and drug screening required
