Regional Controller

Regional Controller - Real Estate | Hybrid | $125,000 to $150,000 + Bonus & Benefits

A growing real estate organization is partnering with our team to identify a Property Accounting professional responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and performance of a regional industrial portfolio. This role will support accurate lease accounting, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, and portfolio level reporting while partnering with operational and accounting leadership to drive overall financial performance and process improvements.

• Partner with property accounting leadership to ensure accurate lease setup and ongoing portfolio reporting
• Monitor monthly property performance through actual to budget NOI analysis and variance review
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual property budgets, including expense assumptions and leasing projections
• Perform and review property and corporate account reconciliations to ensure reporting accuracy
• Manage annual tenant expense recovery and CAM reconciliation billings across assigned properties
• Collaborate with regional operations to track receivable delinquencies and provide reporting as needed
• Support accounting leadership with technology initiatives aimed at improving reporting and operational efficiency
• Assist with external audit coordination and required documentation
• Contribute to annual budgeting processes across properties and departments
• Deliver meaningful portfolio reporting and financial analysis to support leadership decision making
• Provide ad hoc financial insights and support special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of progressive real estate accounting experience; CPA preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across accounting and operations teams
• Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working within corporate accounting systems
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi strongly preferred, including exposure to
• CAM reconciliations, straight line rent, and forecasting tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
• Business acumen within real estate accounting and portfolio reporting environments
• Self motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
• Willingness to travel occasionally for regional meetings or conferences
