Job Summary
Position provides interior design services such as space planning, specifications, drawings, and other documents for major and minor maintenance, repair, and renovation projects. The role also assists in space management utilizing CAFM software and brings creative insight to client needs and the Facilities Management project team.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Certified Interior Designer or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years interior design experience in progressively responsible positions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current state and city building codes as applied to systems furniture and furniture layouts.
- Familiarization and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting program.
- Basic working knowledge of the CAP program and system furniture parts specification program.
- Basic knowledge or interest in CAFM program.
- Accurate reading and understanding of system furniture manuals and brochures.
- May develop analytical studies in support of space or physical facility changes.
- Exemplary communication skills (written and oral) evidenced by experience preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries.
- Demonstrated computer competency; proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and CAP program.
Staff Regular Salary range $71,100.00 – $88,900.00. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
