About the Position
Loyola Marymount University is collecting resumes for potential future part‑time faculty positions in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Department of Educational Leadership, and Department of Specialized Programs in Professional Psychology. The position is a one‑semester appointment, normally teaching 1–2 courses under the direction of the departmental chairperson.
ResponsibilitiesTeach courses in the applicant's area of expertise within the prescribed curriculum, including lectures.
Qualifications- Demonstrated evidence of teaching at the university level, preferably graduate‑level courses.
- Advanced degree in Education or a highly related field.
- For teaching credential courses:
California teaching or administrative credential with background and experience teaching in a K‑12 environment.
Minimum salary is $2,517 per unit taught.
