Part Time Faculty - Modern Languages and Literatures

Position Overview

The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Loyola Marymount University seeks a part‑time faculty member in French for Fall 2026.

• Teach one or two lower‑division, in‑person 4‑unit courses in French.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of students from diverse backgrounds.

• Master's degree in French required;
  Ph.D. or ABD preferred.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in French.
• Evidence of teaching excellence at the college level.

Minimum salary $2,657 per unit taught.
