Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
The Mission of the Recruiting Manager is to understand the corporate strategy and recruiting function in order to work closely with the Director of Recruiting, Operations and Sales to support the company vision and goals in the marketplace. With that knowledge, they will provide recruiting and direct leadership to the Recruiters within team and company.

We are rapidly growing and looking for a highly motivated Recruiting Leader to join our team at our corporate office in Westchester, IL.

We provide project, contract-to-hire and direct hire staffing support both locally and nationally to a variety of diverse industries which include food, pharmaceutical, transportation, consumer products, energy, oil & gas and many others.

Duties &Responsibilities include:
- Daily communication with Team Salesperson(s) and Divisional Manager to establish workload priorities
- Daily huddle with Team Members to convey priorities
- Assist in developing strategies that Team Members can use to fill orders and/or achieve project goals
- Help troubleshoot challenging or problem orders
- Monitor progress to keep orders and projects on track and on schedule
- Function as a liaison with Managers and Sales Team
- Help manage the flow of day-to-day operations (ensure Avionte is updated with contacts, candidate nominations, etc.)
- Function as a “role model” through individual, hands‑on efforts and productivity
- Perform Weekly Accountability Meetings + monthly/quarterly/annual performance reviews
- Provide emails/reports to management to update on the Team’s progress
- Management of recruiting process and recruiting team(s)
- Provide leadership to team to maintain and increase production as well as efficiency
- Work with peers and Directors to analyze, recommend and implement strategic improvements to advance recruiting efforts in supporting the company goals
- Possess a sense of urgency toward open requirements and deliver quality candidates and foster that throughout the team.
- Work with Internal team to recruit, hire and develop immediate staff.
- Monitor recruiting activity and performance.
- 5 + years of agency recruiting experience
- 1+ year in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to establish, apply, and scale recruiting best practices based on prior professional experience.
- Strong, collaborative leadership style with a high‑energy, positive, and team‑oriented approach.
- Proven ability to build and sustain long‑term relationships with team members, clients, and candidates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with consistent follow‑through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for understanding technical and technology‑driven roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
