Data Entry, Data Analyst
Overview
Design, create, update, and document functional and report processes for Undergraduate Admission. Responsible for maintenance and transfer of Admission data within and between enterprise systems on campus.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain reports requiring complex coding for Admission, including the creation of views with MS SQL, scripts and the export of data into accessible report formats for staff.
- Monitor integrity of Admission’s data within and across enterprise information systems; develop solutions to identify data errors, including duplicate or inaccurate records, and to fix these errors before bad data is propagated.
- Participate in the development, testing, implementation and management of data interface between Admission’s information system and other enterprise systems; exercise daily responsibility for the interface with the Banner system.
- Research, design, and implement portal solutions for ease of use by the portal constituents. These include staff portals, Admitted student portals and prospect portals using SLATE or other systems as required by the project.
- Assist in the automation of admission forms and the integration of web based processes to prospective students, including online inquiry and application processes, allowing deployment of user self service functions.
- Participate in departmental technology development, implementation and use statistics.
- Assist in the development of accessible statistics to enable assessment of the progress and pace of Admissions daily work, and to share with executive constituencies across the University.
- Participate in university-wide user group discussions and projects as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
- Represent LMU within the Enrollment Management/Admissions community and at professional organizations or associations, serve on committees as required.

- Typically a Bachelor degree, preferably in a quantitative or technically oriented field. Equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in functional management of information system required.
- Familiarity with Technolutions/SLATE desirable. Knowledge in technical documentation, MS SQL, MS Excel, Word and current trends in admission recruitment and evaluation.
- Experience managing complex data and information systems, familiarity with document imaging systems and processes.
- Ability to compile data and run reports using appropriate reporting tools.
- Exemplary communication skills (both written and oral) evidenced by background in preparing comprehensive reports and executive summaries incorporating complex, highly technical information.
- Highly developed organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a functional and technical team environment, and to take direction and supervision.
- Demonstrated computer competency and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) systems.
- Continued professional development to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes.
Staff Regular Salary range $71,100.00 - $88,900.00. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
