In this role, the employee will co-develop and implement processes related to readiness and capacity with airfoil castings suppliers, ensuring cadence and proactive problem solving to meet global requirements over a rolling three‑year window.
Supplier Relationship Leadership (Castings)- Develop joint operating rhythms with priority suppliers and establish technical and executive escalation pathways.
- Lead detailed capability and capacity assessments covering the holistic supplier value stream.
- Align on capacity investments (tooling/dies, furnaces/presses, NDE assets), secondary processing partnerships, dual‑sourcing, and risk‑sharing mechanisms.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Casting Technologists, and Quality on tooling qualification and producibility for complex geometries and tight tolerances.
- Coordinate with S&OP and Program teams to translate demand signals into firm capacity plans, including long‑lead tooling and die refurbishment lead times.
- Own alignment and capacity readiness to long‑range forecasts.
- Partner with the Central Readiness team to continuously improve readiness processes and forecasts within the Turbine Airfoils Castings Commodity.
- Build action plans and apply structured problem solving to alleviate constraints in conjunction with the Supplier Team.
- Communicate supplier constraints to be incorporated in S&OP rhythms to respond to demand changes.
- Own 12–36+ month capacity modeling for suppliers and part families and maintain risk mitigation action plans.
- Manage NPI rate readiness, ensuring critical value‑stream capacity readiness for NPI delivery, including staffing.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing supplier readiness team with deep casting process knowledge.
- Define and refine competencies, training, and succession plans.
- Refine standard work, visual management, and tiered operating cadence to sustain performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Improve SQDC performance with a focus on OTD, FPY, lead time, past dues, and cost adherence.
- Provide executive‑readiness status updates on readiness action plans and risk mitigations aligned to ramp milestones.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, operations, or project management.
- Ability to prove status as a U.S. Person (U.S. permanent resident, citizen, or protected individual).

Base pay range $157,000–$209,000 USD annual. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary.
