Hours vary based on District need $16.00/hour Position does not qualify for benefits Annual attendance bonus in accordance with the Transportation Handbook

Responsibilities of Bus Supervisor (Bus Aides):

• Understand the route and remain alert to monitor the welfare of passengers.
• Assist in the loading and unloading procedures.
• Cooperate and communicate with school personnel, students and parents.
• Check and account for all student passengers and maintain order on the school bus.
• Make certain students are seated promptly after boarding the bus and remain seated until the bus reaches its destination.
• Assist students in wheelchairs and apply safety and restraining devices as needed.
• Assist students on and off the bus to prevent accident or injury and guide them to cross the street safely.
• Enroll in CPR training class when offered by District.
