Teacher's Aide - St. John Cross Parish School - Vic. V

The teacher aide assists school personnel in a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Chicago. The teacher aide is hired by and is directly accountable to the principal. The teacher aide agrees to abide by the established policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Chicago, as well as the policies and procedures of the local school. The principal will determine the specific assignment of the school aide.

The teacher aide cooperates with the principal and staff in providing an environment that promotes the ministry of Catholic education.

• Accepting position‑related duties directed by the principal which will facilitate the overall operation of the school program.
• Following established procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of the students.
• Maintaining confidentiality and discretion regarding school and classroom matters.
• Attending faculty and staff meetings when required by the principal.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet compliance of Safe Environment requirements.
• Must have respect for the Catholic faith.

Pay: hourly rate of $15.00-$20.00, based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
