Janitor (Full Time)

Location:

Westfield High School – 18250 North Union Street, Westfield, IN 46074 (Openings at other district schools available).

Schedule:

Full‑time, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. (days may vary; details upon interview).
Pay: $16.37 per hour. Same‑day pay. Willing to train.
Company: SSC (a Compass Group business).

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp‑mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment; sanitize all surfaces; follow the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
