Maintenance Technician

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a commercial property portfolio in Westlake, Ohio, including medical office spaces and restaurant/banquet facilities. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining building systems, responding to tenant needs, and ensuring a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for occupants.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with commercial building systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently manage maintenance tasks while providing excellent customer service.

• Perform day-to-day maintenance across commercial properties, including medical office buildings and restaurant/banquet facilities.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Address temperature control and overheating issues, particularly within banquet center operations.
• Navigate and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and facility control systems.
• Respond to tenant service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns.
• Support general building upkeep, including light janitorial responsibilities as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Partner closely with ownership and internal teams to maintain high property standards.

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably within commercial properties.
• Experience working with HVAC and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Comfortable performing both maintenance and light janitorial duties.

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) or other building control systems.
• Commercial property maintenance experience.
• Experience supporting office buildings, medical facilities, hospitality venues, retail properties, or large apartment communities.

• A hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys solving building-related issues.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• Someone who can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• A dependable team member who takes pride in maintaining safe and well-functioning facilities.
