Utility Systems Engineer - Marshall

• System Operations: Oversee the daily operation of plant utilities, including chilled/purified water, vacuum pumps, nitrogen generation, compressed air, and heating systems.
• Maintenance: Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS. Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment issues.
• Projects: Support capital improvement projects, system upgrades, and energy conservation initiatives from planning through commissioning.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations. Champion workplace safety and ensure strict adherence to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience).
• Experience: 4+ years of hands‑on experience managing industrial utility systems (e.g., HVAC, PCW, DI water, compressed air) in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings. Strong problem‑solving skills and experience with maintenance management software.

• Regular, predictable on‑site attendance is an essential function of this role.
• Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
• Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
