Responsible for the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems including water conservation. Additionally, performs routine cemetery services specialist duties. Maintains tools and equipment in working order.
** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
**** Irrigation
* ** Monitor, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems.  Adjust watering schedule seasonally to optimize water conservation.  Repair valve box as needed. Operates hand and mechanical tools to repair or replace lines and sprinkler heads taking care to gently remove sod for replanting.  Monitors and adjusts sprinkler heads to minimize overspray.
Escalate issues to supervisor.
* Prepares irrigation systems for adverse weather conditions to prevent breakage.  Inspects and repairs after weather events.
* Notifies manager when workload is light and volunteers for additional work.
* Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
* Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
** Cemetery Services
*** Performs openings & closings for burials, entombments and inurnments
* Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers
* Installs outer burial containers
* Handles and completes work orders from client families as it pertains to individual grave and marker maintenance
* Responds to and completes requests for service/work orders
* Conducts Interment Verification Procedures
* Conducts 25 foot radius preparation for burials and ensures the area is clean and neat
* Fills grave, tamps, seeds or sods
* Adheres to all Company safety rules and Universal Precautions
* Maintains and protects Company assets by performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities
* Maintains a clean and orderly work area

** MINIMUM Requirements
**** Education
* ** High School Diploma or equivalent required
** Licenses
* ** Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
** Experience
* ** At least two (2) years’ work experience installing and maintaining irrigation systems

* Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required
* Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 pounds; up to 100 pounds with assistance
* Use basic gardening hand tools such as shovels, rakes, clippers, loppers, cultivators, hoes, and similar

** Compensation:*
* ** Salary: $20.00/hr.
