HVAC Dispatch & Scheduler – On-Demand

The Dispatcher’s core responsibilities encompass scheduling technicians cost‑effectively and efficiently to enhance positive customer experiences and reduce operating costs while prioritizing service. This role involves extensive communication, forecasting schedules, and managing the allocation of technical resources to ensure optimum availability. Pay: $21‑$25 per hour.

• Monitors and dispatches service, PMs, and installation calls daily to technicians.
• Updates the dispatch board for schedule changes, delays, and technical availability.
• Ensures travel, arrival, and completion notifications are accurate and up to date.
• Verifies GPS platform alignment with dispatch board to ensure a positive customer experience and cost efficiency.
• Communicates daily outlook and next‑day snapshot to all necessary parties.
• Prioritizes parts for returning service calls.
• Provides status updates on safety, weather, workload, and issues as needed.
• Supports open slots and availability for building out schedules for future assignments.
• Calls customers for updates when applicable.
• Co‑ordinates with Field Supervisors on callbacks, assistance needs, and team updates.

• A high school diploma or GED is required; a technical trade school and/or college degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of Maryland and PA territories.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
• Capacity to work in a demanding environment with frequent interruptions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, with attention to detail.
• Strong creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software/technology for maintenance reports.
• Understanding of typical HVAC/Propane service work and time frames for job completion.
• Knowledge of safe work standards for field technicians.
