As an Apartment Maintenance Technician
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our apartment building. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks for both individual apartments and common areas within the complex.
• Address issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related queries and complaints from tenants.

• Plumbing: Repair and unclog toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.
• Flooring: Replace carpets and wooden floors as needed.
• Electrical: Install and repair wires, plugs, and switches.
• Painting: Maintain communal areas and exterior walls by painting.
• Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in shared spaces.
• Safety Measures: Ensure fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits are in excellent working condition.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies to ensure availability.
• Tenant Assistance: Unlock apartments when tenants lose or forget their keys.
• Special Repairs: Schedule repairs that require specialized technical skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as an apartment maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work on-call after hours and weekends when needed.
